Nutrafit believes it is vital to assess individuals weaknesses and injury risk, before designing training programmes, to reduce the risk of avoidable injuries and aid recovery of any existing injuries or problem areas. Without correcting biomechanical weaknesses, individuals are only learning movement patterns to compensate for weaknesses which can lead to further problems. By understanding an individuals biomechanics, specific injury risk can be identified and a prescriptive exercise programme can be established to compliment their training.

Unlike most trainers Nutrafit as the knowledge, training and understanding to prescribe a range of stretches / exercises to aid in the strengthening and correction of weaknesses - vital for any person participating in exercise, prone to injury or recovering from injury.

The second stage of biomechanical analysis is assessing individuals core and prescribing stretches and exercises to strengthen. Most people whether alone or under a trainers tuition undertake exercises that their core muscles are not strong enough to cope with. This can put pressure on other areas such as the back, increasing the risk of injury and pain.

Nutrafit’s undertakes this thorough biomechanical analysis with all Nutrafit Personal Training clients but is also available as a one off service for those who prefer to exercise alone.
